# Sun in High-Res


A team of researchers from the University of Central Lancashire and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center [published images of the Sun](https://www.flickr.com/photos/uclan/albums/72157713806346422) in unprecedented resolution. Obtained with NASA's high resolution Coronal Imager, used incandescent plasma filaments never seen before:
